Nocpix MICRO 2 ULTRA 1280 Thermal Monocular
(2 week ship time)
The Nocpix MICRO 2 ULTRA represents a major advancement in compact thermal imaging technology. Built around an industry leading 1280 × 960 thermal sensor, this versatile 4 in 1 thermal optic combines the capabilities of a helmet mounted thermal monocular, thermal clip on, handheld scanner, and dedicated thermal weapon sight into one compact platform.
As the first 1280 resolution helmet mounted thermal monocular, the MICRO 2 ULTRA delivers exceptional image clarity, an ultra wide field of view, and impressive versatility for hunting, night vision integration, wildlife observation, and professional applications.
With a high resolution 2560 × 2560 AMOLED display, 60 Hz refresh rate, and advanced thermal processing, the MICRO 2 ULTRA provides detailed thermal imagery while maintaining smooth performance during movement.
Four Ways to Use One Thermal Optic
The MICRO 2 ULTRA is designed to adapt to your equipment and application without requiring multiple dedicated thermal devices.
Helmet Mounted Thermal Monocular
The ultra wide 34.2° horizontal field of view makes the MICRO 2 ULTRA an excellent option for helmet mounted thermal observation. Its wide viewing angle approaches the approximately 40° field of view of a traditional PVS 14, allowing users to observe more of their surroundings with less head movement.
Thermal Clip On
Convert a compatible daytime rifle optic into a thermal viewing system. The MICRO 2 ULTRA supports day optic magnifications from 1× to 10× and features three independent zeroing profiles for use across different rifle and optic configurations.
Handheld Thermal Scanner
Use the MICRO 2 ULTRA as a compact handheld thermal monocular for quickly scanning fields, wooded areas, property, and wildlife. Its high resolution sensor allows users to identify thermal details at greater digital magnification.
Dedicated Thermal Weapon Sight
With eight reticle options, adjustable reticle brightness, app based zeroing, and digital magnification up to 8×, the MICRO 2 ULTRA can function as a standalone thermal riflescope.
Industry Leading 1280 × 960 Thermal Resolution
At the heart of the MICRO 2 ULTRA is a 1280 × 960 Nocpix thermal sensor with 12 micron pixel technology and thermal sensitivity below 15 mK.
Compared to the 640 × 480 sensor found in the RH25 V2, the MICRO 2 ULTRA captures four times as many thermal pixels.
The upgraded 2560 × 2560 AMOLED display delivers nearly 4.7 times the display pixels of the RH25 V2, providing greater image detail and improved clarity when using digital magnification.
Combined with a 60 Hz refresh rate and advanced FastEngine processing, the MICRO 2 ULTRA provides smooth thermal imagery with reduced latency.
Ultra Wide Field of View
One of the most significant improvements of the MICRO 2 ULTRA is its exceptionally wide 34.2° × 25.9° field of view.
This provides substantially more viewing area than the 17.5° × 13.1° field of view commonly found on helmet mounted thermal optics.
The wider image is particularly beneficial for helmet mounted applications, thermal binocular configurations, and dual band systems combining thermal imaging with traditional night vision.
Advanced Night Vision Integration
The MICRO 2 ULTRA includes dedicated NV Highlight and NV Outline modes designed to improve compatibility with night vision systems.
These modes reduce unnecessary thermal background information, making it easier to distinguish heat signatures while allowing traditional night vision to provide surrounding environmental detail.
The Dual Link feature also allows two MICRO 2 ULTRA units to operate together as a thermal binocular system. A single master unit controls image settings, color palettes, zoom, and menus across both devices.
Improved Thermal Clip On Performance
The MICRO 2 ULTRA introduces several improvements for use with magnified daytime optics.
Its upgraded AMOLED display supports daytime optic magnification up to 10×, compared to the 6× support of the RH25 V2.
Three independent zeroing profiles allow users to save settings for different configurations, while the redesigned interface keeps important information visible as daytime optic magnification increases.
